Sometimes I stop somewhere and draw people I see. It was a City Day: a vocal concert in Rumianzev Square (I've been sitting on the stairs with MA under the obelisk and watched around)(you can find me on this sketch then):
Earlier I've made streets around my corner. About 5-6 minutes for each one (then I colored it with pencils in café):
Here - I had to wait for a friend of mine in the Square of Arts, there were people sitting-reading-walking around. I just sketched them after a cursory glance, in a few seconds. Then I halted on Moika embankment and captured this edifice in front, across the river:
Actually it's my first steps in fast-drawing. I stared a couple of weeks ago, on the Strelka (the eastern tip of Basil Island in Petersburg), DerJavin's mansion and Kaninkina square:
I love this city for its places and my good-feeling-here.
I hope he will help me become a better painter one day.
